Jesus Galvan Lucio was born in Tamaulipas, México in 1973. His artistic formation began at the young age of eight when he began taking private painting classes in his hometown, San Fernando. "I always thought that my vocation was to be an artist. I remember my first experience with drawing, at my hometown. when I was a big Spiderman fan and I used to draw little illustrations on my notebooks with color pencils. After that I was fascinated by surrealism. I was a Salvador Dalí admirer, and I began to work with oil on canvas. Recently I've been interested in conceptual art and contemporary movements.”
